I grew up on Windmill Hill Farm in Churchville, which has been owned and operated by the Jay family since 1946. My early experience working with horses and cattle led me to pursue a career in large animal veterinary medicine. After graduating from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, in 2009, I returned to the farm for a year before completing a large animal medicine internship at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and Massachusetts Equine Clinic.
I worked as an associate veterinarian at a mixed animal practice in Howard County, MD, before returning to Harford County to serve the veterinary needs of my home community. I aim to provide excellent veterinary care to horses from all walks of life, with services ranging from vaccinations and preventive care, to medical and lameness evaluations, to emergency treatment. If you would like to schedule an appointment, or need help with an emergency, please call. I look forward to working with you and your horse.
